We’ll talk about logistics – what to bring, how to stay warm and dry, ways to prioritize safety, and how to work with the wind and changing light! We’ll look at a variety of plein air painting systems (French easels, pochade boxes on tripods, DIY cigar boxes, sketchbox easels) and discuss the pros and cons of each. We’ll even try out a landscape-friendly palette that requires few colors but yields a big impact. We’ll wrap up with a Cinco de Mayo celebration.
