2017 CoCA Legacy 24-Hour Art Marathon and Auction

  • Elysian Fields 542 1st Avenue South Seattle, WA, 98104 United States (map)

CoCA will be taking a moment to reflect back on its rich history and has invited some of its esteemed alumni. The stunning energy of the massive creativity coalescing in one shared space of this art-marathon is awe inspiring!

We've put together a stellar list of artists for this year's event including:  Flynn Bickley, Diego Suarez, Todd Horton, Casey Curran, Dallas Cooper, Jean Bradbury, Julie Devine, Erika Rier, Stephanie Hargrave, Kamari Bright, Braden Duncan, CASH,  Larry Calkins, Aramis Hamer, Gabriel Marquez, Juli Adams, Leah Gerrard, Jeff Mihalyo, Talia Silveri Wright, Jazz Brown, Flora Ramirez-Bustamante, and Leslie West for this creative extravaganza!

The marathon and auction will happen at Elysian Fields, 542 1st Avenue South, Seattle, WA 98104.  From 10am to 10am the following day, artists will paint, draw, collage, construct, spray, wax, sculpt, write, and otherwise bring into existence nearly 100 works of art to be auctioned off in a series of silent and live auctions starting at 5:30PM Friday, November 3.

The fun event includes a Thursday night artist party that coincides with the Pioneer Square Art Walk for a behind-the-scene view for hundreds of artwalkers alongside a hosted keg of beer thanks to Elysian Brewing. For those who have witnessed previous Marathons or participated in past events, the blast of pure creative energy during the event, combined with the controlled chaos and pandemonium, makes this one of the Northwest’s premier art spectacles.

The work created will be auctioned off the following day to contemporary art collectors and enthusiasts!
